PRESS RELEASE - Norilana Books - JoSelle Vanderhooft is New Series Editor for LACE AND BLADE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Norilana Books is proud to welcome JoSelle Vanderhooft as the new series editor for our annual elegant romantic fantasy anthology Lace and Blade.

JoSelle Vanderhooft is an author, editor, poet, reviewer, freelance journalist, dramaturg, and something of a lapsed playwright. She has published seven poetry books including the 2008 Bram Stoker Award finalist Ossuary (Sam's Dot Publishing, 2007) and The Memory Palace, an autobiography in verse (Norilana Books, 2009).

In addition to reviewing for several venues, Vanderhooft edits Drollerie Press' LGBTQ imprint Flyleaf Press and has edited several anthologies, including Sleeping Beauty, Indeed (Torquere Press 2006, reissued by Lethe Press in 2009), Hellebore and Rue: Tales of Queer Women and Magic (Drollerie Press/Lethe Press 2009, with Catherine Lundoff), Bitten by Moonlight (Zumaya Publishing, 2011), and the Steam-Powered series, which collects multicultural steampunk stories featuring lesbian protagonists (Torquere Press).

She currently lives in South Florida with her partner and one gloriously orange tabby cat.

Lace and Blade is an exciting annual anthology series of sexy, elegant, swashbuckling romantic fantasy, where the sparkling wit of Oscar Wilde meets the manners of Jane Austen, the exotic sensual flair of Tanith Lee, and the deadly sharp blade of the Scarlet Pimpernel, Zorro, and D'Artagnan. The author lineup of volumes one and two, edited by acclaimed author and editor Deborah J.Ross, is a stellar example of some of the best talent working in the industry today.
